Evans Smoke Session

Kyle's Transformation

Creative Glamour
*creative glamour photography*

I was approached by a friend of mine to participate in a make over. This wasn't any makeover she said so I asked.

Kyle wants to feel like a lady she stated and then asked if I could give him a glamour session after.
If you know me you will know that I never back down from a creative session, especially when it involved a drag queen.
Here are my favorites of Kylie's session!

Great Job Lace Belina from Imagine Spa!!

Rings of 2016

Rings of 2016

Every end of year I love to sit down and put together what I call my "end of year favorites"
This year I am highlighting my favorite ring shots of the year.
Some are engagement rings and some are wedding ring shots.

Stackhouse Family Paint Fight

August 2016
*Waterford Lifestyle Photographer*

Every year I offer two family paint fight sessions.
This year it was the Stackhouse family that was interested.

I hosted the session down at the Lions Park in Oakland, On.
The family was a bit hesitant at first but slowly warmed up the the idea of squirting their family members with paint.

                                                   The Beauty In Courage
                                                     *Brantford Lifestyle Photographer*

Last fall I was referred to Lace from Imagine Spa in Brantford for a public offer she was creating. She was asking for friends and relatives of ladies who have battled cancer and who deserve it the most in their eyes.
Lace was giving  full make up, manicure and pedicure, Amy Steiner from Monsoon Hair Design gave new color, new cut and style for the winners hair, I photographed the whole two days and gave a nice little glamour session at the end.
And last but not least Tammy from the Closet Door in Brantford gave an outfit with all the extras like jewellery, shoes and a purse.

This is Judy our winner and her daughter Michelle who nominated Judy.
This is their two day adventure.

5th Publishment!
*Ontario Professional Photographer*

So I got the greatest news today!
I am proud to announce that I have been published again for the 5th and final time this year.
Hitched Magazine was happy to give me 1 wedding with 4 pages and two pages showing my ring photos this year attached to two articles from Paris Jewelers.
I am so proud of all my accomplishments this year. I worked very hard to get to where I am, lost time with family and friends but gained so many new clients!
Great thing my family doesn't mind and they are cheering me on!

Creative Glamour Session

                     September 22nd, 2015

When I have time I develop creative sessions just for my own pleasure.
I am constantly bombarded with new ideas and am so lucky to have these two lovely ladies as my models.
They are so wonderful to work with!

The first session was a Red Riding Hood session. Lacey from Imagine Spa in Brantford, On. was my model, hair stylist and make up artist.
Beyond thrilled at her talent at creating special effects with make-up!

The second session was a woodland fairy session with my close friend Marianne Atkins.
She has modeled for me numerous time in the past, all turning out absolutely beautiful! The camera loves this beauty!

Goulden Family Paint Fight

August 1, 2015

I recently had a session with this couple down in Long Point at sunset and they had mentioned that they were interested in family photos too. I took a couple days to create some ideas for family photos that they would love. I spoke to her about a couple different ideas but she didn't seem interested and asked for more creative so I said how about a paint fight? She jumped on that idea saying that was exactly what she had wanted.
Here are some before and after photos of the session.

Goulden Sunset Beach Session

July 12th, 2015

I have dabbled here and there with beach sessions, a bit in the water with one couple a couple years back and a few sunset sessions but never all three together.
When I first spoke to this couple, they made it very clear they wanted something different. They were not interested in park photos, not ordinary, I completely agreed as I am one photographer that loves being different.
I arranged for their photos to be taken at a spot I know of in Long Point On. I asked how they felt about going in the water and hey were all for it. So I arranged for the session to be done at sunset half on the beach and half in the water.
Yes, I went in the water too! lol

Here are my favorites from this session :)

Henderson Family

June 5th, 2015

One night when I was visiting a friend of mine I met a woman with two boys who had an odd taste in family photo style.
She asked me if I would be interested in doing something different and of course I said heck yeah!! She showed me a photo and I asked if I could do that for her. I thought about it for a bit working out the details in my head then agreed that I would give it a shot.

We met a few days before our session to shop for it. We took a trip to Value Village and found some awesome props as well as the perfect outfits for herself and her two boys.
The one shot that I had wanted was the poison apple which is to the left.

Above are her two sons who played the part so well!
I have so many different shots of both of them and all of them together but am unable to show all of the photos taken for that session. I could and will do another session like this anytime, I had so much fun and creative photography is what i love most about my profession.

Session info:

makeup is $45.00/person
session price $125.00

I bring props, I arrange for the location.
you get an hour and a half long session, unlimited photography on cd and a online gallery that you can use to buy                                                                                    prints, share to FB, Pinterest, Twitter & email

Rockabilly Bridal Session

May 3rd, 2015

Two months ago I came up with the idea of doing something different. I had already been published once and I was itching to be published again, so I started brainstorming different ideas and decided on using a tunnel with colorful graffiti on both sides.
I put out a open model call looking for one specific look and was given the names of two people with that exact look.

I set up the date and time and kept in contact with the couple for the two months. During that time she bought a dress, made the alterations to it so it fit the style perfectly.
Here are some of my favorite shots from that session. I will be submitting these to a magazine I work with.

Rhora Balloon Fun!

May 31st, 2014

I was so excited for this session and to make it better it was located right in my own back yard!
Jeff my husband and I were up early blowing up balloons and tying them off. I then went and set up the scene.
Client came well prepared with tutu, rubber boots and bug spray.
Session worked out perfect! These are my favourites!

These are some of my favourites.

Trash The Dress

May 12th 2014

I have been waiting awhile to finally do a trash the dress session. I was lucky enough to find a beautiful area right in my own backyard.
These are my favourite photos from the session.

Ice Storm 2014

We recently had a very bad ice storm. I took advantage of it and captured some pretty neat images. I love the wild weather, makes for great photos afterwards!
